We Make Noise Boston (formally Beats By Girlz Boston) harnesses the power of music and technology to advance global gender equity, equipping our communities with tools that cultivate limitless potential.

We are a decentralized and non-hierarchical global organization that supports and works in tandem with our member chapters all over the world. The Boston Chapter is BIPOC and Queer run bringing intersectional feminist to the center of the work we do.

WMN Boston is here to create community, empower and educate people about music and music tech, provide workforce training and job opportunities to people in our community, and have a lot of fun.

We Make Noise Boston is a recipient of a 2023 and 2024 Boston Cultural Council Grant, a 2023 grant from Comcast, and a 2022 grant from Amazon. We work in collaboration with Mass NOW, Boston Women’s Market, and BID Boston.
