WE MAKE NOISE BOSTON CAMP

The We Make Noise Boston Camp is an annual songwriting and production camp designed by and for women and gender-expansive people. Camp is a 3-day experience where a group of gender minorities come together and write and produce songs for a featured artist. Songwriting and production camps are great networking and work opportunities and traditionally gate kept in the music industry. The We Make Noise Boston Camp opens doors for gender minorities to get real life experience writing and collaborating with an artist.

The We Make Noise Boston Camp is back this 2024! Join us for three days of production and songwriting workshops along with writing sessions with other nonbinary, trans, women, and gender-expansive musicians. Stay tuned for our guest artist announcement coming soon!

When? Friday October 25th through Sunday, October 27th

Where? The Record Co., 960 Massachusetts Ave, Boston, MA

Who? Women and gender-expansive songwriters and/or producers ages 18+, all levels and genres are encouraged to apply

Cost? $500 for the weekend, full and partial scholarships are available to anyone based on need

Schedule Overview

Friday

Gathering and introduction followed by a songwriting workshop by our guest artist.

Saturday

Attendees will be split into groups of 3-4 producers and songwriters to write a pitch a full demo. Attendees will get feedback from the WMN team. At the end of the day, all groups will showcase their new songs

Sunday

Participants will present their songs and get feedback from the group. A song will be picked to be recorded with the help of a band, producer, and engineer. We will then end the day with a listening session.
